Gastric Balloons at Oaklands Hospital
A fantastic alternative to surgery, gastric balloons are a weight loss tool that occupy around 60% of a patients stomach and suppress the hunger hormone known as ghrelin. With a weight loss expectation of between 10 – 17% depending on dedication to the programme overall, the gastric balloon is supported by 1-1 sessions with a HCPC registered dietitian and nurse.
