Gastric balloons are a non-surgical weight loss method designed to facilitate the feeling of hunger by occupying 60% of the stomach, delaying gastric emptying, and suppressing production of the hunger hormone known as ghrelin. We provide two distinct models of gastric balloon. These include the FDA approved Orbera 365, a gastric balloon that can remain in the stomach for a maximum of 12 months, and the four month Allurion Balloon which is swallowable.
