Gastric Balloons in Manchester
Gastric balloons are temporary, non-surgical weight loss tools that facilitate weight loss and habit change by allowing patients to feel fuller for longer. They achieve this by occupying around 60% of the stomach, delaying gastric emptying, and reducing production of the hunger hormone known as ghrelin. We offer the FDA Approved Orbera 365 from our Manchester Clinic. The Orbera 365 can be in place for up to 12 months and patients typically experience an average total body weight loss of between 10 – 18%. The Allure Programme ensures that our patients are given the chance to acquire knowledge and skills from 1 to 1 sessions with a registered dietitian.
