How Does the Allurion Balloon Work?
The Allurion Balloon is a swallowable gastric balloon that occupies 60% of the stomach, delays gastric emptying, and suppresses production of the hunger hormone known as ghrelin. CE approved, it can stay in the stomach for up to around 4 months at which point it is designed to deflate and pass naturally.
