Marc lost 20kg

“From first contact immediately, it was clear that someone understood my mindset and feeling and they listened to all my questions and concerns and I had plenty. Someone actually cared! There was no constant pressure or correspondence to push me to make a decision but all through this I was encouraged that " i had to want this to work and although the balloon was just a tool I had to put the work in to achieve my goals"

I came across the gastric balloon which i was skeptical about especially ones that were for only 3 months as I couldn’t see how losing lots of weight in a short time was beneficial.
I ever considered costs and going to Turkey but read many horror stories.
After a great deal of research I came across allure weight loss.
From first contact immediately it was clear that someone understood my mindset and feeling and they listened to all my questions and concerns and I had plenty.
Someone actually cared!
There was no constant pressure or correspondence to push me to make a decision but all through this I was encouraged that ” i had to want this to work and although the balloon was just a tool I had to put the work in to achieve my goals”
Most of all someone believed in me doing this.
So i went for a 12 month balloon.
Every step of the way from initial contact, nurses, doctors, monthly zoom meetings with nutritionist i was encouraged and sometimes a little telling off given if I strayed the path.
Even when I didn’t feel well,or had worries everyone was on the other end of the phone or email to help and reassure me.
My advice is, this is journey and not an easy one. You have to put the work in to make the changes. I had bad days, but mostly good days,I’ve gone off the rails but got back on again.
For me the best bit is standing next to people you’ve know for years and not seen for a year and they don’t recognise.
A year ago my risk of heart attack was 8 out of 10.
It’s now 2 out of 10.
The 2 based on my age.
I can’t thank the whole team for helping me turn my life around which I tend to continue.
